IWebDir.org will not accept any web site for submission if they

  1. Are under construction
  2. Made for adsense (MFA)
  3. Contain Pornography or explicit adult themes.
  4. Contain Political propaganda.
  5. Contain Racist, sexist, homophobic or other discriminatory content.
  6. Contain Illegal material (including, but not limited to, material that contravenes copyright law - e.g. illegal Mp3s, Warez, Serials etc),
  7. Contain spyware or adware, or Slanderous/defamatory content.
  8. MLM's and any other form of online scams.
  9. Non English sites.
  10. Personal free sites. eg - geocities
  11. Mirror or redirect to another URL.

General Guidelines on web site submission

We follow the below guidelines for the submissions.

Site submission text

  • We do not stuff the title and description with keywords or advertising hype.
  • Have the right recommended length of Title, Description and Keywords.
  • Provide logical sentences with good grammar for the description and don't just provide the key phrases in it.

Web site submission

  • We always use a separate dedicated email for submissions.
  • We check and confirm the confirmation mails as soon as possible.
  • While using Yahoo, Gmail or any free email, we check the Junk mails. Some of the confirmation mails is sent to the junk folders.
  • We choose the right category to submit. This results in a good approval rate as the administrators are quick to approve the sites in the right category.
  • We don't submit your site in irrelevant Niches. Supposing your website sells shoes then we will not submit it in a web hosting directory.
  • we do not submit your web site to directories which have popup ads, irrelevant listings, containing DMOZ data or made for adsense directories.
